Moving & Assisting Train the Trainer Refresher
If you have already completed a Moving & Assisting Train the Trainer programme, over a year ago, it may be that your skills need refreshed. Even if you have not trained with Emcare before, we welcome care staff to refresh their skills on our 2 day refresher course to ensure best practice is maintained.
Course Description
The 2 day course will include:
• Pre-course, workplace-based reflection will inform the basis of professional discussion and problem solving sessions
• Legislative framework
• Dynamic and Formal Risk Assessment
• Influencing change and challenging poor practice
• Principles of efficient movement
• Theory and skills-based competency assessment referenced to the Scottish Manual Handling Passport
